Visit the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront which is South Africa's most talked about tourist venue with many shops and restaurants
  9. In Cape Town take a full Day Tour of Cape Point & Cape of Good Hope, said to be the romantic meeting place of the two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian. Flank the cold Atlantic Ocean en route to Hout Bay. Enjoy a half-hour cruise to "Seal Island" or for the not so adventurous the fish market "Mariners Wharf" is a must. Continue alongside the Indian Ocean, and stop to see the Jackass penguin colony, which has become well established, at Boulders beach near Simon’s Town. Our last stop of the day is at the Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens, home of some 3 500 species of Southern African fauna and flora.

Day 1

Cape Town

Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a representative who will
transfer you to the hotel.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure
The Western Cape is a province of extraordinary diversity and, with its numerous attractions and
famous landmarks, offers various day tour and sightseeing. Cape Town, the "Mother City", offers
beautiful white sandy beaches, Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront

Day 2

Cape Town

Today Commence on a city tour. Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for a panoramic
view of the city and coastline. Visit the historic Malay Quarter, we go past the South African
Museum, with its famed Bushmen exhibits, the Cape Castle and other interesting sights.
Towards the end of the morning a visit is made at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. This is
South Africa's most talked about tourist venue with many shops and restaurants. (You may wish
to stay at the harbour and explore on your own before returning to your hotel on your own).

Day 3

Cape Town

Breakfast at your hotel
Commence on full day tour of Cape Point. We flank the cold Atlantic Ocean en route to Hout Bay.
Once a fishing community now one of the most popular residential areas, the harbour still has a
charm of days gone by. Enjoy a half-hour cruise to "Seal Island" or for the not so adventurous the
fish market "Mariners Wharf" is a must. We now continue alongside the Indian Ocean, and stop
to see the Jackass penguin colony, which has become well established, at Boulders beach near
Simon’s Town. Then we travel onwards until we reach Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope.
Said to be the romantic meeting place of the two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian, Sir
Francis Drake the Explorer once called it "the fairest Cape that we saw in the whole
circumference of the Globe”. And rightly so, it must be the highlight of any visit to the Mother City,
if not South Africa. Our last stop of the day is at the Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens, home of
some 3 500 species of Southern African fauna and flora.

Day 4

Cape Town – Garden Route

Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
Depart over land to Garden Route. Drive time from Cape Town is +/- 6.5 hours The “Garden
Route”, South Africa’s most famous scenic highway links the Nelson Mandela Metropolis to Cape
Town in the Western Cape Province.
Arrive and check in to the hotel.
17h00 – Depart on a cruise on the Knysna Lagoon

Day 5

Oudtshoorn

Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
Depart on a full day touring in Oudtshoorn.
Visit Cango Caves – the Klein Karoo’s oldest and most popular attraction…. One of the world’s
natural wonders.
Visit Cango Wildlife Ranch – here you will have the opportunity to view some of the animal
species that inhabited the Karoo Region in the early days.
Visit the Safari Ostrich Farm – the ultimate “ostrich experience” with thousands of ostriches to
view from incubation stage to full grown adults that visitors can ride. The farm has an excellent
restaurant specializing in South African Cuisine, especially ostrich meat (lunch not incl. in the
program). It also boasts a curio shop including an excellent range of ostrich products.

Day 6

Onto Mabula

Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
Depart on a road transfer to George Airport for your flight to O R Tambo International Airport
Arrive in Johannesburg and depart on a road transfer to Mabula Game Lodge.
Only two short hours drive North of Johannesburg lies the African wonder that is Mabula Private
Game Reserve. This 12000ha of malaria free reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife and
birds, including the world famous Big Five. Mabula Private Game Lodge offers a traditional
outdoor experience for visitors wanting to brave the African wild and guests have the chance to
get up close and personal with nature and encounter a new dimension in bush life. Staff
emphasis is on service and attendants are on hand to cater for guests every whim 24 hours a
day. A permanent ranger is on hand to accommodate nature walks, game viewing drives, bird
watching and horse riding. Evenings can be spent relaxing, taking in the reserve's spectacular
golden plains and listening to the sounds of the wild. Mabula is renowned for its beauty and

Mabula

Return to the lodge in the evening where there is time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 8

Onto Sun City

Depart on an early morning Game Drive followed by breakfast at the lodge.
Depart on a road transfer to Sun City Pleasure resort, a millionaire's playground which caters for
everyone. A pleasure palace of sparkling theatrical extravaganzas, restaurants and casino.
Arrive at Sun City and check in
Evening is free at leisure.

Day 9

Sun City

Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
Spend a leisurely day as you please. The magnificent pool area is surrounded by tropical plants
and nearby is the incredible Water world and the Valley of Waves with its wide variety of water
activities. Sun City is a sportsman's paradise, from the two golf courses designed by Gary Player
to the tennis courts. Other sport activities include bowls, mini-golf, squash, ten-pin bowling and
horse riding. There is also a gym and sauna for the more physical enthusiasts. (Costs not
included for additional activities)

Day 10

Onto Johannesburg

After Breakfast, we depart over road to Johannesburg. Enroute we take you on the Gold Reef
City Tour, built on the site of the now worked out Crown Reef Mines. Highlights include
descending underground with your Gold Reef Guide who will explain how the ore was mined a
century ago and how it is mined in the "City of Gold" today. Afterwards, watch a gold bar being
poured and enjoy the traditional gum-boot dancing, uniquely created by the miners decades ago.
End off by strolling through the museum village which also offers specialty shopping, including
original mining antiques at the Old Mine Shop and interesting coins at the Gold Reef City Mint.
Evening is free at leisure.

Day 11

Johannesburg

Today after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home with an
enriching experience, new friends and a bagful of memoirs, all of us would like to keep for
posterity.
